Kyrgyzstan and Georgia have reaffirmed their readiness to deepen partnership, discussing prospects for expanding cooperation across political, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and other areas.

The issues were addressed during Kyrgyz-Georgian political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries held in Bishkek, The Caspian Post reports via the Kyrgyz foreign media.

The Kyrgyz delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov, while the Georgian side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Alexander Khvtisiashvili.

During the consultations, the sides reviewed key aspects of bilateral cooperation, including political dialogue, trade and economic ties, and cultural and humanitarian interaction. The participants noted the positive momentum in relations and expressed a shared commitment to further strengthening partnership.

Abakirov emphasized the importance of enhancing political dialogue based on long-standing friendship, trust, and mutual respect. He highlighted that organizing high- and top-level visits, as well as strengthening diplomatic engagement, opens additional opportunities for advancing bilateral relations.

The Georgian side, in turn, reaffirmed its firm commitment to expanding political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. Tbilisi also expressed readiness to implement joint projects and promote exchanges of experience, aiming to elevate relations between the two countries to a new qualitative level.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain regular dialogue, coordinate joint initiatives, and implement projects designed to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
