Kyrgyzstan Ranks Among Leading Buyers of Russian Cheese

Since the beginning of 2025, Russia has exported cheeses and curd products valued at $70 million, representing a 20 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.

The total export volume reached 14,000 tons, fueled primarily by significant growth in young and processed cheeses, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

Exports of young cheeses surged by 33 per cent, while shipments of processed cheeses rose by 16 per cent.

The main importers of Russian cheese and curd products are Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan, highlighting strong regional demand for these dairy products.
