Kyrgyzstan's Balykchy City Hall has hosted a meeting with representatives from Turkish engineering companies MOSAŞ Group and Kepil Technologies, along with officials from the Center for Public-Private Partnership in a bid to enhance its tourist and transport infrastructure.
The meeting focused on plans to install modern tourist signage, road lighting, and directional signs at the city’s main entry and exit points. In a significant development, MOSAŞ Group has offered to implement the project entirely free of charge, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The envisioned upgrades include solar-powered illuminated boards, advanced road signs, floodlights, electronic weather and distance information displays, and security surveillance cameras-all designed to enhance visibility, improve navigation, and ensure greater safety on the roads.
City Hall highlighted that the initiative will play a crucial role in improving road safety, strengthening tourism infrastructure, and making Balykchy more attractive to both domestic and international visitors.
