The Kyrgyz Republic has signed an agreement with the British company CONCRETE CANVAS to establish a plant for manufacturing flexible concrete sheets, the Cabinet of Ministers' press service announced.
The planned capacity of the plant will be at least 5 million m² of concrete sheet per year, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
"Instead of 100 tons of cement, we can use only 5 tons of this material, while achieving the expected result and significantly increasing the speed of installation. Using this technology, we are keeping up with the times," said Adylbek Kasmymaliev.
He also emphasized that this project is an example of effective partnership between the state and business.
"We are confident that this project will become a catalyst for other investment initiatives," the head of the Cabinet of Ministers concluded.
Flexible concrete sheet is an innovative material that allows for significantly faster installation and reduced negative impact on the environment.
