Kyrgyzstan to Celebrate Youth Tourism with New Festival This October

The Kyrgyz Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs has announced a public tender for the organization of the Bishkek Regional Youth Tourism Festival, officially titled “Bishkek Travel Fest.”

Bishkek plans to allocate 1.145 million soms for the event, which is tentatively scheduled for October 12 at Yntymak Park, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The festival aims to promote youth engagement in tourism, support healthy and active lifestyles, and showcase Bishkek’s cultural and recreational potential to a wider audience. Organizers promise a dynamic program that includes dance performances, animators, artisan exhibitions, an ethnic fashion show, culinary master classes, sporting events, and a honey fair.

In addition to entertainment, the festival will offer interactive zones, contests, and races, with prizes and souvenirs awarded to participants.
