Kyrgyzstan is set to launch a Trade House in Chengdu, aiming to strengthen economic and commercial ties with China.
Jusubali Toromamatov, Kyrgyzstan’s trade representative to China, met with Li Yuping, Deputy Director of Chengdu’s Bureau of Commerce, to discuss expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The talks resulted in an agreement to establish the “Trade House of the Kyrgyz Republic” and the “Kyrgyz-Chinese Center for Trade and Economic Cooperation” in Chengdu. These venues will provide year-round promotion and sale of eco-friendly Kyrgyz products, while also serving as platforms to strengthen business links between the two countries.
Toromamatov also highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential, noting that direct flights on the Chengdu-Bishkek-Chengdu route open new opportunities for tourism growth.
China remains one of Kyrgyzstan’s key trading partners. In 2025, bilateral trade showed significant growth, and establishing logistics centers in Sichuan Province has become a priority for boosting Kyrgyz exports.
