Kyrgyzstan is gearing up to host the next edition of the Issyk-Kul Forum, with organizers expecting participation from leading intellectuals from Azerbaijan and other countries.
Kanybek Imanaliev, Chairman of the Kyrgyz Writers' Union, made the announcement during the international congress “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia” held in Tashkent, The Caspian Post informs via local media.
Imanaliev highlighted that President Sadyr Japarov has already issued instructions to ensure the forum’s smooth organization, reflecting the country’s commitment to making the event a major platform for cultural and academic exchange.
“We are expecting intellectuals from all over the world, primarily from Central Asia and Azerbaijan,” Imanaliev said, underlining the forum’s role in fostering dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas among scholars and cultural figures.
The Issyk-Kul Forum, held annually in the scenic lake region, has become a key venue for regional and international discussions on culture, education, and the arts, attracting writers, historians, and thought leaders from across the globe.
