Survey Finds Strong Public Confidence in Kyrgyzstan’s Path

A recent survey by the Kusein Isaev Center for Social Research at Bishkek Humanities University shows that 90 per cent of Kyrgyz citizens believe the country is generally moving in the right direction.

The survey was conducted from December 25-29, 2025, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

While 11 per cent of respondents expressed a negative view, over 64 per cent described 2025 as a positive year, with 17 per cent calling it very successful. Around 25 per cent said the year was a mix of good and bad, and 7 per cent labeled it rather difficult or very hard.

Looking ahead, more than 84 per cent of participants expressed optimism for 2026. The survey included 1,039 respondents from all seven regions of Kyrgyzstan, reflecting broad national sentiment.
