Kyrgyzstan will host the ToonDook International Animation Festival on September 13-14, showcasing top animated films from around the world and celebrating creativity and innovation in animation.
For the first time, the festival will include a special Kyrgyz animation competition, aimed at supporting local creators and showcasing the country’s growing talent in the animation industry, The Caspian Post reports per Kyrgyz media.
The festival’s program offers a variety of interactive events, including a 24-hour animation challenge, an Artists’ Alley with merchandise and live art demonstrations, and masterclasses led by international animation experts.
A six-member jury from Azerbaijan, Germany, France, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan will evaluate the entries and select winners.
