Russia, China Ready for New Round of Strategic Security Talks

President of China Xi Jinping and Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu confirmed readiness to organize the next round of consultations on strategic security, the press service of the Russian Security Council said.

"Sergey Shoigu and Xi Jinping discussed cooperation within the framework of existing formats of cooperation under auspices of the Security Council of the Russian Federation," the press service said, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

Readiness was confirmed to organize the next round of consultations on strategic security with Foreign Minister Wang Yi and on public security, justice and law order with Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission Chen Wenqing, the press service added.
