A Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro has left at least five people dead and 27 others injured.
The strike occurred after Ukraine’s air force issued warnings of incoming missiles. An explosion rocked the city, prompting emergency crews to respond to multiple impact sites across Dnipro, The Caspian Post reports via Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Officials said the attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, vehicles, and commercial sites. A fire also broke out near a gas station following the blast, with several victims injured in public areas and inside cars at the time of the explosion.
The death toll had risen to five, while more than 20 people were hospitalized, some in serious condition.
