Uman city in Ukraine’s Cherkasy region has been struck by a Russian missile, injuring six people, including two children, and damaging residential infrastructure.
Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, confirmed that all victims are receiving medical care while emergency teams respond to the damage, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian forces launched an assault using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 99 attack drones, of which 73 were intercepted.
Key targets included energy and port facilities in Odesa, a terminal in Mykolaiv damaging a Liberian-flagged vessel, two DTEK energy facilities in southern Odesa, and railway infrastructure in Kovel. Several drones also caused partial power outages in Mykolaiv and nearby suburbs.
