Tajikistan and Angola Hold Political Consultations

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Angola held online political consultations on July 28, according to the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan.

The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Farrukh Sharifzoda, and the delegation of Angola was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Esmeralda Bravo Conde da Silva Mendonça, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.

The parties discussed issues related to the expansion of cooperation in the political, economic, investment, cultural, and scientific spheres. They also exchanged views on current international matters, including the geopolitical situation, regional security, climate change, and sustainable development.

The parties emphasized their readiness to strengthen and further develop bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
