Tajikistan has taken a significant step toward improving its healthcare system by introducing 39 new diagnostic and treatment methods in the first half of this year.
The initiative aims to bring cutting-edge medical technologies and practices to the public health sector, ensuring broader access to high-quality care across the country, The Caspian Post reports, citing Tajik media.
Of the newly adopted methods, seven relate to diagnostics, including:
Advanced detection techniques for thyroid disorders
The application of artificial intelligence for analyzing cardiac arrhythmias
Improved CT imaging for cardiovascular health
Innovative diagnostic tools for eye diseases
Modernized X-ray diagnostics tailored for pediatric care
The remaining 32 methods focus on treatment and include:
Minimally invasive vascular surgeries
Integrated procedures for varicose veins and hip conditions
New techniques in neurosurgery and obesity treatment
Enhanced organ transplant protocols
Advanced dialysis procedures for patients with chronic kidney disease
Health officials confirmed that all new procedures are already being successfully applied in practice, signaling a strong move toward modern, patient-centered care in Tajikistan.
