Chairman of the National Council of the Tajik Supreme Assembly, Rustami Emomali, has proposed holding the next Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
His proposal received unanimous support from participants of the ongoing third Forum, currently being held at the Ala-Archa State Residence, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
In his address, Rustami Emomali congratulated Kyrgyzstan on its successful chairmanship and organization of this key regional event. He noted that the current gathering continues a tradition of interparliamentary dialogue, friendship, and cooperation among the countries of Central Asia.
“The regular convening of this forum reflects our commitment to regional integration and our shared ambition to strengthen trust, dialogue, and cooperation in the interests of our peoples,” Emomali stated. “I am confident that through interparliamentary collaboration and the advancement of parliamentary diplomacy, we can help shape a strong legal foundation for achieving our common goals.”
The forum also marked the adoption of the Bishkek Declaration, jointly signed by the speakers of Central Asian parliaments, further reinforcing regional unity and legislative cooperation.
