Denmark has hosted the Fourth Forum on Vocational Excellence in Kolding and Copenhagen, organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF) with a delegation from Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Education attending to underscore the country’s commitment to international collaboration in vocational education.
The event brought together over 400 participants from 43 countries, including vocational education leaders, digitalization experts, business representatives, and students, The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.
The forum focused on digitalization, innovation, and high-quality vocational training amid the global green and digital transition. Discussions emphasized the role of Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) as catalysts for modernizing education systems and enhancing international cooperation.
Participants engaged in plenary sessions, thematic discussions, workshops, and extensive study visits to leading Danish educational institutions and enterprises in offshore energy, climate, sustainable agriculture, and digital innovation. The EuroSkills 2025 championship also formed part of the program. Contributions from the DIGI ENE digital excellence network and the DARYA project team ensured a practical, hands-on exchange of knowledge.
The forum proved an effective platform for sharing experiences, forging new partnerships, and equipping young professionals with the skills needed to tackle future challenges, while underscoring education’s critical role in promoting sustainable development.
