Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography Annasakhet Kakaev and Georgia’s Europa 24 TV channel CEO Vakhtang Medzmariashvili have held an online meeting to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in telecommunications and media.
The meeting was arranged through the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
Medzmariashvili presented the activities of Europa 24 and proposed a number of initiatives, including the joint production of video content about Turkmenistan, the creation of live TV linkups, and collaborative broadcasting projects.
The talks also highlighted the importance of covering key international events involving Turkmenistan. Particular attention was given to the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC-3) and the International Forum marking both the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
Both parties voiced mutual interest in deepening cultural exchange through media cooperation and underscored the value of sharing Turkmenistan’s achievements with the global audience.
