Turkmenistan Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Draws Over One Million Visitors in Japan

Turkmenistan’s national pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, has surpassed the milestone of one million visitors.

The millionth visitor was recorded midway through the event, highlighting growing international interest in Turkmenistan’s culture, innovation, and modern development, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.

Pavilion officials noted that daily attendance continues to rise.

Designed with a unique blend of national symbolism and modern architecture, the pavilion was constructed using eco-friendly materials, reflecting Turkmenistan’s emphasis on sustainable development goals.

The pavilion’s exhibits showcase the country’s innovative technologies, economic prospects, and rich cultural and historical heritage. Visitors have the opportunity to view handwoven Turkmen carpets, explore traditional crafts, and experience the flavors of Turkmen cuisine.

The EXPO 2025 runs from April 13 to October 13 on Yumeshima Island in Osaka Bay, drawing millions from around the globe.
