Uzbekistan Highlights Tourism and Culture at Malaysia’s MATTA Fair

Uzbekistan has participated in Malaysia’s largest tourism exhibition, the “MATTA Fair” in Kuala Lumpur, presenting its national stand organized by the Tourism Committee and the State Unitary Enterprise “National PR Center,” with support from the Uzbek diplomatic mission.

The exhibition provided a key platform for expanding international cooperation, promoting Uzbekistan as a top travel destination, and establishing direct connections with regional tourism industry leaders, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The national stand featured Uzbek tour operators, Uzbekistan Airways, and the tourism departments of Tashkent and Andijan regions.

Throughout the event, B2B meetings facilitated discussions on potential partnerships and the exchange of expertise with Malaysian and Southeast Asian counterparts. Visitors were introduced to Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, traditional cuisine, and renowned hospitality.

Uzbekistan’s participation at the MATTA Fair strengthened its image as an attractive tourist destination, attracted interest from international partners, and highlighted the country’s competitive advantages within the regional tourism market.
