On the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has met with the Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Feridun Sinirlioğlu.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to review the current state of cooperation and discuss the agenda of upcoming OSCE events, including preparations for forthcoming high-level ministerial meetings, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
A key focus of the discussion was regional security and stability, with both parties exchanging views on challenges and opportunities in Central Asia and the broader OSCE area. The dialogue underscored the importance of continued multilateral engagement in addressing security issues and promoting sustainable peace.
Saidov reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s commitment to deepening its cooperation with the OSCE and emphasized the country's readiness to support initiatives aimed at strengthening dialogue, building trust, and fostering inclusive partnerships across the region.
