Ararat Mirzoyan, the Foreign Minister of Armenia, held a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart, Kęstutis Budrys, on the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Forum 2025.
The FMs discussed new opportunities for “deepening the partnership between Armenia and Lithuania, in line with the dynamics of bilateral political dialogue and the friendship built on shared values,” the foreign ministry said in a readout, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed gratitude to Lithuania for its support of Armenia’s democratic agenda, strengthening resilience, and deepening cooperation with the EU. The upcoming interactions and existing mechanisms for promoting sectoral cooperation with the EU were touched upon.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Kęstutis Budrys exchanged views on regional developments. The Lithuanian minister welcomed the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, including the initialing of the Peace Agreement with Azerbaijan.
The Foreign Minister of Armenia emphasized the opportunities provided by enhanced regional connectivity through the opening of communications under agreed fundamental principles.
