US Special Envoy Reaffirms Ongoing Support for Armenia's Peace Agenda in Meeting with Ambassador

On Thursday, Armenia's Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff at the Holocaust Museum as part of an event marking the Middle East Peace Summit and the second anniversary of the October 7 attacks, according to the Armenian Embassy in the US.

The progress of the August 8 agreements and regional developments were discussed, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.

Steve Witkoff reaffirmed the consistent support of the US for the peace agenda.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan, for his part, expressed his gratitude to Steve Witkoff for his efforts to establish peace and stability in the region.
