The third Shusha Global Media Forum, centered on the theme “Digital Pathways: Strengthening Information and Media Resilience in the Age of AI” is currently underway in Shusha, Azerbaijan.
The event, which opened on July 19 and runs through July 21, brings together approximately 140 international participants from 52 countries, including representatives of over 30 news agencies, seven international organizations, and about 80 media outlets, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The forum features a diverse group of attendees, including foreign journalists, Azerbaijani media professionals, experts, and government officials, all focused on navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by rapid digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
In addition to panel discussions and presentations, participants have been taken on organized visits to Aghdam district and the city of Lachin, where significant restoration and reconstruction projects are ongoing, highlighting Azerbaijan’s efforts to rebuild and develop liberated territories.
A key moment of the forum occurred on July 19 in Khankendi, when Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with forum participants, underscoring the government’s support for media development and international cooperation in the digital age.
The third Shusha Global Media Forum continues serving as a vital platform for dialogue on strengthening media resilience and fostering collaboration amid evolving digital landscapes.
