Central Asian Leaders to Gather in Uzbekistan for Seventh Consultative Meeting

Tashkent will host the seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia on November 15-16, chaired by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The summit will bring together the region’s leaders: Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon, and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.

Kaha Imnadze, Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, will also attend the event.

The agenda includes key topics on strengthening regional cooperation, implementing joint projects, and advancing initiatives in priority sectors. Leaders are expected to exchange views on pressing regional and international policy issues.

The meeting is set to conclude with the adoption of a comprehensive package of multilateral documents, according to the official website of the President of Uzbekistan.

During Uzbekistan’s current chairmanship, over 20 major events have already been held under this format, covering a wide range of cooperation areas.
