Georgia has urged the European Union to restart high-level dialogue, signaling a willingness to address contentious issues that have strained relations between Tbilisi and Brussels in recent months.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations Nikoloz Samkharadze said that Georgia has asked Luxembourg to help facilitate the resumption of discussions between the country and the EU, The Caspian Post reports via Georgia 24.
Samkharadze emphasized that the Georgian side is prepared to engage in talks on all disputed matters, including the controversial foreign agents law, which Tbilisi acknowledges has become one of the key sources of tension in its relationship with the European bloc.
