On the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met with Finland’s President Alexander Stubb to discuss bilateral and international issues, underscoring the importance of sustained high-level political dialogue in strengthening the Kazakhstan-Finland relations.

The Kazakh leader expressed optimism that President Stubb’s upcoming official visit to Kazakhstan would further enhance cooperation in trade, investment, economic development, and humanitarian areas, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The leaders also exchanged perspectives on the current geopolitical environment, highlighting the need for collaborative approaches to address global challenges effectively.

This meeting comes shortly after President Tokayev’s engagement with French President Emmanuel Macron, reflecting Kazakhstan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with key European partners.
