In a spectacular display of athleticism and control, 19-year-old Kazakh rider Ernar Zhasuzak has officially entered the Guinness World Records and Kazakhstan’s Book of Records after performing a remarkable equestrian feat.
Zhasuzak successfully rode two kilometers while standing on two galloping horses, maintaining a speed of 60 km/h, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
The record-breaking stunt was performed on September 20 and achieved on his very first official attempt.
“The journey to this record was incredibly challenging,” Zhasuzak said. “I trained for over three months. There were days when the horses were exhausted, or I fell and struggled to get back up. But I stayed focused and never gave up.”
The high-speed stunt, which required perfect balance and coordination, was the result of months of preparation and strict safety protocols. Despite having only two official attempts, Zhasuzak succeeded on the first try.
“Keeping the horses aligned, maintaining my balance, and ensuring they didn’t drift off track - it all came down to me,” he added.
The daring performance has been widely celebrated as a new chapter in Kazakhstan’s rich tradition of equestrian sports. Zhasuzak’s achievement showcases not only his personal determination but also the growing prominence of Kazakh athletes on the global stage.
Looking ahead, the young record-holder has his sights set on breaking another world record in 2026, further pushing the limits of what’s possible in equestrian performance.
