A Lufthansa flight has made an emergency landing at Kazakhstan's Almaty International Airport following an in-flight incident in which a passenger died.
The aircraft, traveling from Munich to Beijing, landed in Almaty after a passenger became unwell and lost consciousness, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Airport medical teams and an ambulance crew quickly responded, confirming that the passenger had passed away in flight. Authorities noted that the deceased was a foreign national.
Preliminary reports indicate that the cause of death was acute heart failure.
