Kyrgyzstan has signed a landmark agreement with Saudi airline Flyadeal to organize the transportation of pilgrims for Hajj 2026.
An international conference and exhibition on Hajj are underway in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, drawing participants and officials from around the world, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The event runs from November 6 to 13 and serves as a key platform for discussing innovations and logistics for future Hajj seasons.
The Kyrgyz delegation, led by Azmat Yusupov, Chairman of the National Agency for Religious and Interethnic Affairs, and Mufti Abdulaziz qary Zakirov, joined by leading theologians, took part in the event.
During the exhibition, Kyrgyzstan signed a major agreement with Saudi airline Flyadeal to organize air transportation for pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj season. The deal was formalized at the Super Dome complex in Jeddah, with both sides emphasizing the importance of expanding cooperation in religious tourism.
The signing ceremony was attended by Zamir Tursunbekov, representative of the Presidential Administration, and Zholdoshbek azhy Abdyldaev, Deputy Mufti and Head of the Hajj 2026 Organizing Committee. The Saudi side was represented by senior officials from the Ministry of Hajj and Flyadeal management.
Officials noted that the partnership marks a significant step in improving the comfort, safety, and coordination of Kyrgyz pilgrims traveling to the Kingdom for Hajj.
