Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the Kyrgyz presidential administration’s information policy service, has said that Kyrgyzstan saw a massive surge in frozen fruit exports, sending over 3,600 tons abroad from January to August-3.8 times more than last year.
The country’s frozen fruits are primarily exported to Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states, with Russia leading the way, and are also reaching markets in Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Poland, Bulgaria, and France, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Orunbekov highlighted that rising demand and expanding export markets reflect the quality and competitiveness of Kyrgyz products, while strengthening the nation’s agricultural and processing industries. The growth is also creating new jobs and boosting regional development.
