Kyrgyzstan Participates in 13th Security Officials Meeting in Moscow

Baktybek Bekbolotov, Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, participated in the 13th meeting of high-level security representatives held in Moscow.

According to the presidential press service, the event, which took place on May 27-29, was attended by 126 delegations of foreign states and international organizations, The Caspian Post reports citing Kabar.

The agenda of the plenary session was to discuss the formation of an architecture of equal and indivisible security in the context of current challenges and available opportunities for the states of the Global South and East.

In his speech, Baktybek Bekbolotov noted that Kyrgyzstan's priorities include finding common approaches with partners to solving key issues of countering traditional and new threats, as well as developing preventive and response measures to them, active interaction with the UN and work in this area in various formats of friendly integration associations.

The Kyrgyz secretary of the Security Council emphasized that the development of economic and transport ties, strengthening cooperation, improving logistics routes and infrastructure, implementing various joint projects and harmonizing steps that advance national interests play a significant role in strengthening regional stability.

All efforts of interstate cooperation should be aimed at building prompt and coordinated actions in the spirit of alliance, mutual understanding and support.

The event also included informal multilateral meetings of the secretaries of the security councils of the SCO and CIS countries.

In addition, in order to expand international cooperation in the field of security and develop military-technical cooperation, Baktybek Bekbolotov held a number of bilateral meetings.
