Kyrgyzstan Voices Strong Support for Afghanistan at UN Security Council Session

Kyrgyzstan has actively participated in a recent United Nations Security Council session dedicated to the work of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).

The session also highlighted recent progress in Kyrgyzstan-Afghanistan bilateral relations. Over the past months, both countries have strengthened economic cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, transport connectivity, and energy collaboration.

Kyrgyzstan’s delegation reaffirmed Bishkek’s readiness to continue supporting Afghanistan’s recovery and development, signaling a commitment to long-term regional stability and prosperity.
