Kyrgyzstan Welcomes China’s COMAC C919 Cargo Jet in Aviation Milestone

A landmark event in Kyrgyzstan’s aviation sector has taken place as the COMAC C919, a state-of-the-art narrow-body cargo jet produced by China’s leading aerospace firm COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China), landed for the first time at Manas International Airport.

The flight was operated by YTO Airlines, marking a milestone in Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation in air transport, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The arrival of the COMAC C919 represents a new phase in the modernization of Kyrgyzstan’s aviation infrastructure and opens the door to expanded international cargo logistics.

The launch of regular charter cargo flights with the C919 is expected to significantly increase freight capacity, streamline logistics operations, and contribute to regional economic development.

Officials added that the flight schedule for the new cargo service is currently being finalized and will be made public in the coming days.
