Magnitude 3.5 Earthquake Shakes Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Region

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan.

The tremors were recorded at 7:12 p.m. on November 23, with the epicenter located 4 km south of Sary-Tologoy, 7 km southeast of Toktoyan, and 40 km northeast of Karakol, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

Nearby villages including Sary-Tologoy, Toktoyan, Ak-Chyi, and Ken-Suu felt tremors measuring around magnitude 3.0, though no major damage or casualties have been reported.

Seismologists continue monitoring the region for potential aftershocks, reminding residents in the area to stay alert.
