Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has announced that Kyrgyzstan ranked among the world’s top three countries for real GDP growth in 2024.
President Japarov made these remarks at the fourth People’s Kurultai (assembly), The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
He highlighted that this achievement reflects the success of the country’s economic policies, the soundness of its national strategy, and the hard work of the Kyrgyz people. Over the past four years, the economy has grown at unprecedented rates, with an average GDP growth of 9.8 per cent over the last three years. Real GDP growth reached a record 10.2 per cent in the first 11 months of 2025.
The president noted the country’s consolidated budget has surged from 247.7 billion soms in 2020 to 1.93 trillion soms ($160.117 billion) in 2025, nearly quadrupling in just five years.
“Such dynamics show the strengthening financial foundation of Kyrgyzstan and confirm the correctness of the ongoing reforms,” Japarov said.
He also emphasized that the upgrade of Kyrgyzstan’s sovereign credit rating to B+ this year by leading international agencies has enhanced the country’s global standing and investment attractiveness. All indicators, he added, point to a trajectory of sustainable, high-quality economic growth.
