Russian Government’s Quota Program Opens Doors for Kyrgyz Students in 2026/27

The Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan has officially announced the opening of applications for the 2026/27 academic year under the Russian government quota program.

This initiative provides Kyrgyz students with the opportunity to study at state-funded Russian universities with free tuition, dormitory accommodation, and a scholarship, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The program covers a wide range of educational levels, including undergraduate, specialist, master’s, postgraduate, residency, and additional professional education courses.

For the upcoming academic year, Kyrgyzstan has been allocated 700 quota spots, offering substantial opportunities for aspiring students.

In addition, on September 24, an exclusive one-day exhibition will be held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) as part of the second Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum. This event will allow prospective students to receive detailed guidance on the application process and interact directly with representatives from 30 leading Russian universities.

The Russian Embassy encourages all interested candidates to take advantage of this chance to pursue higher education in Russia under the government quota program.
