5.5-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake has been registered near the border between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, according to the Institute of Seismology of the Kyrgyz Academy of Sciences, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

The epicenter was located at a depth of 17 kilometers.

Earlier, a 5.2-magnitude earthquake was reported in central Kazakhstan.
