Russian Drones Hit Dnipropetrovsk, Two Dead

Two people have been killed and at least two others injured after Russian drones struck multiple areas of Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region during attacks.

Drones hit the Vasylkivka community in the Synelnykove district. A 68-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were killed. Two other civilians - a 47-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man - were injured and taken to hospital, where doctors described their condition as moderate, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

The strike sparked fires and caused extensive damage to civilian property. Authorities said three private houses were damaged, one home was completely destroyed, and several outbuildings and vehicles were hit. An unused building, an administrative structure, and a power line were also damaged.

Other parts of the region were targeted as well. Russian forces reportedly attacked the Nikopol district, including the city of Nikopol and the Marhanets community, Myrove community, and Chervonohryhorivka community. Officials said FPV drones and Grad multiple launch rocket systems were used, damaging infrastructure facilities and additional power lines.

The latest strikes come amid continued hostilities in the region, which has repeatedly come under drone and missile attacks targeting energy infrastructure and populated areas. Earlier reports also indicated that a media crew was caught in a repeat drone strike while documenting the aftermath of a previous attack on a bus carrying miners.
