Ukrainian Drone Hits Energy, Port Sites in Russia’s Krasnodar

A Ukrainian drone strike has damaged energy and port infrastructure in Russia’s Krasnodar territory, underscoring the growing intensity of cross-border attacks linked to the war in Ukraine.

According to officials, debris from an intercepted unmanned aerial vehicle hit a pipeline at a terminal in the village of Volna in the Temryuk district, triggering a fire that spread across roughly 100 square meters, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Emergency crews quickly brought the blaze under control. Authorities said no crew members or shore personnel were injured.

The attack also caused damage to two piers and two vessels moored at the terminal. The Volna area lies close to the Crimean Bridge, a strategically important transport corridor used to supply Russian forces in occupied Ukrainian territories.

The latest incident follows a similar strike earlier this month, when a Ukrainian drone attack sparked a fire that burned for three days at Temryuk Seaport, a key hub for liquefied natural gas and oil exports in southern Russia.

Ukraine has increasingly targeted Russian oil, fuel, and transport infrastructure, aiming to disrupt military logistics and supply chains supporting Moscow’s operations. Russian authorities continue investigating the extent of the damage from the latest attack.
