The anti-doping agencies of Azerbaijan and Poland have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in the fight against doping in sports.
The MoU was signed by Tahmina Taghi-zada, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA), and Michał Rynkowski, Director of the Polish Anti-Doping Agency (POLADA), The Caspian Post reports citing Azertac.
Under the agreement, both agencies will strengthen collaboration in anti-doping efforts, expand scientific research and educational initiatives, apply innovative approaches, and exchange best practices. The partnership will cover key areas such as results management, testing, and education, ensuring alignment with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.
Additionally, the memorandum lays the foundation for future bilateral agreements in various areas of mutual interest, fostering a structured and long-term approach to cooperation.
