Azerbaijani swimmer Yegor Mainitsky delivered an outstanding performance at an international tournament in Abu Dhabi, contributing to the country's record medal haul of 7, The Caspian Post reports citing local media.

He grabbed four golds, two silvers and one bronze medal in the swimming event. He was additionally honored with the title of the ‘best athlete’ of the competition among his peers.
