Tajikistan Sees Strong Growth in Agricultural Exports

The Tajik Agriculture Ministry has announced that more than 90,000 tons of agricultural products were exported in the first six months of 2025, representing a growth of 13,100 tons compared to the same period last year.

The ministry revealed that these exports reached 26 countries, with 89 per cent destined for Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets, and 11 per cent sent to countries outside the CIS region, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Customs data show that the majority of exports passed through checkpoints in the Sughd region, totaling 80,000 tons. Other key transit points included Khatlon region (5,200 tons), the city of Tursunzoda (4,600 tons), Dushanbe (189 tons), and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (66 tons).
