Athlete Representing Uzbekistan Shoots to Gold in Hungary

The Uzbek National Olympic Committee has announced that athlete representing Uzbekistan Vladimir Svechnikov captured the gold medal at the IV. MASPED Shooting Cup, currently taking place in Budapest, with a standout performance in the men’s 10-meter air pistol event.

Svechnikov displayed exceptional focus and marksmanship throughout the competition. His composed execution and sharp accuracy secured him the top podium spot in a highly competitive field, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

He entered the finals after dominating the qualification round, where he posted an impressive score of 588 points - the highest among all contenders. Carrying that momentum into the final, he maintained his lead and confidently sealed the victory, bringing home a prestigious gold medal for Team Uzbekistan.
