On the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has met with Austria’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, to discuss the future of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting focused on strengthening diplomatic, economic, and multilateral ties, with both officials expressing interest in expanding collaboration within international platforms and institutions, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
They reviewed the progress made in recent years and exchanged views on further advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Reaffirming their shared commitment to deepening the partnership, both ministers emphasized the importance of sustaining the positive momentum in Uzbekistan-Austria relations. They also agreed to explore new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation across various sectors, including trade, investment, education, and innovation.
The meeting underscored the ongoing efforts by both nations to reinforce constructive dialogue and build a dynamic and forward-looking partnership on the global stage.
