Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan Boost Border Cooperation

Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are stepping up collaboration on border security.

On October 28, 2025, top officials from Uzbekistan’s State Security Service Border Troops and Azerbaijan’s State Border Service met in Tashkent to discuss the latest developments along their national borders, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The meeting, held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, focused on joint priorities, future cooperation, and modernizing border management. Both sides agreed to expand experience-sharing in areas such as border protection, control measures, advanced information technologies, and technical support.

The talks also reinforced the countries’ commitment to strengthening historically friendly ties and deepening cooperation, following the strategic vision set by the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
