Uzbekistan Boosts Energy Trade With China, Exporting Nearly $700M in Gas

Uzbekistan exported $695.5 million worth of natural gas to China in the first ten months of 2025.

Russia remains the top supplier, boosting its gas exports to China by 17.8 per cent, reaching $7.85 billion, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Turkmenistan ranks second with exports totaling $7.03 billion, though its deliveries declined by 12.9 per cent.

Russia and China signed a major gas supply agreement at the end of the summer, which envisions pumping 106 billion cubic meters of Russian gas annually - a move expected to further reshape regional energy flows.
