Uzbekistan Brings In Citrus Wave With 17,400 Tons of Oranges

From January to July 2025, Uzbekistan imported 17,400 tons of oranges worth approximately $7.5 million.

Iran emerged as the leading supplier, accounting for 11,600 tons of the total imports, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Other key sources included:

Egypt - 2,600 tons

China - 2,100 tons

Turkey - 453 tons

South Africa - 340 tons

Kazakhstan - 187 tons

An additional 149 tons of oranges were imported from other countries.
