The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Cyprus have met in Tashkent to discuss ways to deepen bilateral relations and expand cooperation across a range of sectors.
Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and his Cypriot counterpart, Constantinos Kombos, held a productive dialogue focused on enhancing ties in political, economic, educational, and cultural fields, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
The two sides explored opportunities to boost trade and investment, promote tourism, and foster academic exchanges.
Particular attention was given to cooperation within international and regional organizations. Both ministers underscored the importance of strengthening multilateral engagement and reaffirmed their shared commitment to developing a forward-looking partnership based on mutual respect and common interests.
