Rector of Saudi Arabia's Majmaah University (MU), Professor Saleh Al-Mezal has welcomed Uzbek Ambassador Nodirjon Turgunov, accompanied by the Uzbek consul, to discuss strengthening international cooperation in education, research, and joint innovation programs.
The delegation met with MU’s Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Mohammed Al-Shehri, to explore academic and research partnerships, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The visit included tours of the Engineering & Applied Sciences Research Center, Health & Fundamental Sciences Research Center, and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center.
Professor Al-Shehri highlighted opportunities for Uzbek students through the “Study in Saudi Arabia” scholarship program and Arabic language learning. Dr. Bader Al-Harbi, Head of Knowledge Exchange & Scientific Societies Department, emphasized that international partnerships support knowledge sharing, expertise transfer, and sustainable development aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
The meeting reinforces collaboration in education, science, and innovation, advancing technology and research at the global level.
