Ambassador: Bilateral Bonds Strengthen as Youth Forum Unites Georgia, Azerbaijan

Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze has announced that bilateral relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan continue thriving, with the latest sign of deepening cooperation seen at the Azerbaijan-Georgia Youth Forum held in Baku this week.

Speaking to journalists after the event, Pataradze highlighted the positive momentum in relations between the two neighboring countries, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

"Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan are steadily progressing and reaching new heights," said Pataradze, emphasizing the growing strategic and cultural cooperation between Tbilisi and Baku.

He described the longstanding partnership as one "deeply rooted in a spirit of brotherhood and anchored in a strategic alliance," and underscored the significance of the youth forum in promoting cross-cultural understanding.

“This forum holds great significance, as it offers young people from both countries a valuable opportunity to engage with one another and explore each other’s rich cultures and traditions,” he noted.

The ambassador also expressed gratitude to the leadership of both nations for their support in organizing the forum, which brought together young leaders, students, and cultural representatives for a day of dialogue, performances, and collaborative workshops.

The Azerbaijan-Georgia Youth Forum is part of a broader effort by both governments to strengthen people-to-people ties and foster long-term regional cooperation through education, culture, and youth engagement.
